Who pays for shipping?

Kiwi Gadgets pays for postage by providing a pre-paid shipping label that you print on your own printer. When you complete your order on this website, the final page will show you a summary of the items on your order, and also give you the ability to print a pre-paid shipping label. You will also receive a confirmation email that contains a prepaid USPS United States Postal Service) shipping label. Simply print the label and attach it to your package before mailing.

How do I ship my item?

Simply package up your item using your own packaging. You should use old newspapers, bubble wrap, or other packaging material to cushion your item. Include the packing slip inside your package. Then attach the pre-paid shipping label with clear tape. You can drop off your package at any Post Office or collection box, put it in your own mailbox, or give it to a postal carrier.

Can I use any other shipping methods besides the USPS?

We offer FREE shipping within the continental United States through our partnership with the USPS. You are welcome to use any other shipping carrier at your own expense.

I have multiple items I want to send. Can I send them all in one package?

Yes. You can select multiple items to add to your Selling Cart. Feel free to ship these items in together in one package. The more items you sell, the more cash you make!

How long do I have to send in my item?

All prices obtained through our website ordering system or email quote are valid for 21 days from the order date. If we receive your items more than 21 days from the date of the original order or quote date, your items may be re-priced at the current pricing.

How long does it take to get paid?

Your payment is issued as soon your item(s) are received and inspected, usually within 1-3 days of our receipt of your item(s). Checks are sent via First Class Mail. You will be notified via email when your check or PayPal payment is processed, so that you can keep an eye out for it. You can also get updates of your payment status anytime on this website by clicking on “Check Order Status”.

How was the used value of my item determined?

Our technology utilizes current market data to determine the true market value for your item.

Do I need to send in the accessories (i.e. chargers, power adapters, etc.) that came with my device?

If you have them, we encourage you to send these in.

My item isn't in perfect cosmetic shape. Will you still buy it?

As long as the item is 100% functional, unbroken, we will buy it. Normal use, such as light scratches or scuffs are OK. Excessive scratches and dents will result in price recalculation.

Do you accept broken items?

We may accept some broken smartphones and PDAs. E-mail us with a description of your item and its condition and we will send you a personalized quote.

How do I find my cell phone’s model number?

For cell phones, most model numbers are located underneath the battery. Simply remove the battery cover and battery. In the battery compartment, there will be a sticker that contains a variety of info, including "Model Number" or "Model ID".

How do I erase my personal data from my electronic device?

If you would like to clear the personal information off of your item prior to sending it to us, most cell phones and other electronic devices have an option in their settings that allows the user to reset everything to factory defaults. You can find the instructions in your owner's manual.  If you don't have a copy of the manual, you can typically get one from the manufacturer's website. In addition, when we receive your electronic device, we erase all the personal data from the item and restore it to the original factory settings.

Should I cancel my service or deactivate my cell phone?

Yes, all Sprint, Verizon, Alltel, Nextel, US Cellular, Cellular One, Qwest, metroPCS and other CDMA network cell phones that DO NOT use SIM cards MUST BE DEACTIVATED. There may not be an outstanding balance on the account. You need to have carrier deactivate the phone.

How do I deactivate my phone's ESN/MEID (Serial Number)?

Below are the major cell phone service providers and their customer service numbers. Give them a call and use this script: "I have a (type of cell phone) and I need to deactivate it from my account."

My item isn't listed on your website. Can I still sell it?

We are frequently updating our website with new products and categories. If you don’t see your item, e-mail us at info@kiwigadgets.com, and we’ll let you know if your phone is eligible for payment. Make sure to include the manufacturer and model number in your e-mail.

Why do you need my email and address information?

We need your email and mailing address so we can send you the prepaid shipping label and your check! Also, all communications regarding your transaction and payment will be sent to you through email. We do not spam our customers, nor do we sell any of your information to third parties.
